Frequently Asked Questions

How is my VDOT calculated?
Enter a recent race time at any standard distance. The app uses Jack Daniels' VDOT formula to determine your fitness level and calculate appropriate training paces.

What are Session A, B, and C?
Session A uses short intervals (under 5 minutes), Session B uses medium intervals (5–9 minutes), and Session C uses long intervals (9+ minutes). All are run at sub-threshold paces calibrated to the interval duration.

Does the Apple Watch feature require a paired watch?
Yes. Sending workouts to Apple Watch requires iOS 17 or later and a paired Apple Watch running watchOS 10 or later.

Can I switch between metric and imperial?
Yes. Go to the Profile tab and toggle your preferred unit system. All paces and distances will update accordingly.

Is my data stored online?
No. All data is stored locally on your device. Norwegian Singles does not collect or transmit personal data. See our Privacy Policy.
